Ideal Candidates

An ideal candidate is an ITA Indentured Electrical Apprentice with a minimum of 4000 hours of recorded work experience in the field, has experience with wiring and finishing high-end homes and is able and willing to work on projects in North and West Vancouver, Lions Bay or Bowen Island. You must have your own transportation and be able to travel to and from the North Shore. 

Opportunities for Career Advancement

Kybe has signed off over 25 apprentices upon completion of their apprenticeships. All of whom went on to become capable independent Qualified Electricians who confidently complete complicated projects. We have many career advancement opportunities for electricians after completing their apprenticeships including Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Coordinator and Procurement Specialist. Retention of our best team members is Kybe’s focus and we incentivize long-term employment financially, with company vehicles and career progression.

What is KYBE Electrical Contracting?

Kybe is an electrical contracting firm with deep roots on the North Shore. Kyle Robertson, Founder and Principal, was born and raised in North Vancouver and built Kybe based on the relationships he forged in the construction community throughout the Lower Mainland. Kybe’s reputation is built on providing reliable, dependable and consistent service. 

We specialize in custom home construction and renovations. We work with renowned contractors, designers and architects on high-end projects with passive and NetZero certifications. In the commercial sector, we specialize in Breweries, Restaurants, Office Space and Retail Tenant Improvements.

Kybe’s headquarters are in the heart of the Lower Lonsdale Brewery District, surrounded by many restaurants and breweries, most of which we wired initially or help maintain. We hold regular monthly team meetings at this location to discuss safety and the ongoing processes at Kybe. Kybe’s onsite warehouse space is available to all team members 24/7 and creates efficiencies for our projects and procurement of materials.
